Generation4Change North East are delighted to be holding their annual charity quiz night and we would be delighted if you were able to join us for a fun filled evening with a variety of themed rounds to test everyone’s ability.
Our chosen charity will be The Chronicle Sunshine Fund.
The Chronicle Sunshine Fund is a charity that provides equipment to children with disabilities to meet their specialist needs across the North East. As a small registered charity, we rely solely on the support and generosity of local individuals, communities, corporates and trusts to fund our work and it is only throughout the kindness of our donors that we can support so many children in our region. Parents, carers, schools and organisations can apply on behalf of a child or group of children with disabilities or specialist needs up until their 19th birthday. Families can apply every 12 months per child meaning we can support them throughout their entire childhood, watching them grow and develop, whilst providing them with enrichment and opportunity. We’re also not means tested so anybody can apply to us.
The equipment we provide which is often specialist, cannot be funded by any other means including the NHS, therefore families are forced to apply to the charity for life-changing pieces of equipment for their child. Some of the items we provide include electric powered wheelchairs, specially adapted bikes, beds and baths, as well as sensory and IT equipment.
There is no objection to entering more than one team so please encourage your clients and work colleagues to join in!
