Our mission is to deliver improved industry performance resulting in a demonstrably better built environment. Our vision is for the UK construction industry to realise maximum value to all clients, end users and stakeholders and exceed their expectations through the consistent delivery of world-class products and services. We work with the whole of the supply chain and our regional partners to adopt the ideas set out in the Latham and Egan reports and embrace collaborative working and innovation. The revised OneVoice action plan allows for a shift in focus as a result of the pandemic and changing attitudes in the industry.

Decarbonising Construction

Constructing Excellence in the North East are taking positive action in light of the climate emergency. The Decarbonising NEE Construction programme offers subsidised training and support to help regional companies measure carbon emissions and put in place carbon reduction plans. It also aims to create a regional framework for collective improvement across the NEE construction industry, supporting carbon reporting and reduction activity.
