Constructing Excellence in the North East (CENE) is the regional partner to Constructing Excellence

The single organisation charged with driving the change agenda in construction, housing and regeneration. We are committed to working with the industry, its customers and the government to make change happen and to deliver prosperity. We seek to improve performance, shift perceptions and together with our partners, form a powerful voice for change.

Ambition

We want to deliver improved industry performance resulting in a demonstrably better built environment. Our vision is for the UK construction industry to realise maximum value to all clients, end users and stakeholders and exceed their expectations through the consistent delivery of world-class products and services.

We want to celebrate your successes whether this is as an individual or an organisation as we continue to fly the flag for the North East Built Environment. We get the chance to do this via the Constructing Excellence in the North East Awards and Generation for Change (G4C) Awards.

Catriona Lingwood

CEO

Catriona has responsibility for the overall running of CENE.

Leanne Conaway

Events Manager

Leanne is responsible for the events and Awards for CENE and Generation for Change as well as promoting the North East Club membership. Leanne also supports Constructing Excellence National with the organisations of the National Constructing Excellence Awards.

Dainee Brown

Office Administrator

Dainee will play an important role in organizing, managing and keeping the office running smoothly, whilst also supporting the full Constructing Excellence team.

Chelsea Corbett

Sector Administrator

Chelsea supports all of the Sector Theme groups; People, Value, Climate, Innovation and Construction Client’s in her role as Sector Administrator.
