Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to have a dramatic and unavoidable impact on businesses across the construction industry, many of them SMEs. Constructing Excellence North East exists to bring people together for the benefit of the industry and the health, safety and well-being of our clients is always a priority.
Constructing Excellence North East along with support from Constructing Excellence and BRE are engaging across its membership to ensure we are responding to the concerns of the sector. This support is provided by Construction Leadership Council, Build UK and Government. Our priority is supporting members and the wider industry with advice and guidance on construction-specific issues, and this dedicated webpage collates the key information for employers.
There is unprecedented business support available from Government, and Site Operating Procedures have been produced to ensure sites are implementing the Government’s social distancing requirements.
