Constructing Excellence in the North East in association with Square one Law are delighted to bring you this morning briefing covering construction contracts.

Let’s face it, nobody like long complicated contracts but have you ever really considered what the risks are when you sign on the dotted line? Do you understand what obligations and liabilities are placed on you?

Construction projects vary greatly in terms of complexity, and there’s not a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to legal contracts. Tensions can arise between parties when clauses in contracts aren’t fully understood. Nonetheless, contracts are signed every day, often without understanding the basics.

In this session, Bal Manak and Kimberley Crossman will provide clear guidance to help give you a better understanding of what the key clauses in a construction contract mean for you, so you can confidentially manage risks.

This seminar will be useful for developers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers who regularly review and negotiate construction contracts.
