Constructing Excellence in the North East in association with Teal Consulting will focus on Collaborative working, in particular ISO 44001. It is the first international standard in the world to address collaborative business relationships.
Collaborative approaches have been shown to deliver a wide range of benefits which enhance competitiveness and performance. Increasingly collaboration is now not an option but a necessity and organisations should be reviewing their collaborative strategy on a regular basis.
This new standard will help businesses both large and small to build and develop effective competitive business relationships based upon a collaborative approach. And, even if you do not seek accreditation, the framework itself provides a structured basis for collaborative working for the future. Many businesses are already using the standard – examples include Kier, Costain, Network Rail, Skanska, Atkins, Siemens, etc
Delegates will come away with an awareness of the standard, an understanding of the benefits of managing effective collaborative relationships.
